Welcome!

I am an artist in Atlanta, Georgia working in oil, acrylic and mixed media. Growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, I have always had a passion for creating art. I carried this with me into college, earning a BA in Studio Art at Wake Forest University. My work is figurative and is characterized by vivid colors, loose brushstrokes, and lots of texture. I am most inspired by capturing small scenes that have a sense of moments passing or memories fading. Having grown up near the coast, I am frequently drawn to beach imagery and I enjoy studying the way these images pull apart, transforming into color, movement, and fleeting light.
